1st October 2015 – MailShark today announced that it has become a Champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) 2015. It will be joining a growing global effort among colleges and universities, businesses, government agencies, associations, nonprofit organizations and individuals to promote online safety awareness. Celebrated every October, National Cyber Security Awareness Month was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure everyone has the resources needed to stay safer and more secure online. As an official Champion, MailShark recognizes its commitment to cybersecurity and online safety.

We are yet again delighted to be part of the National Cyber Security Awareness Month. MailShark was founded only 17 months ago in May 2014, yet for the second year running its a proud NCSAM Champion. MailShark has come a long way since it’s Email Filtering-only service, now offering complete Email Security with SharkSpot Hosted Email, SharkVault Email Archiving and Email continuity services – all while Cyber Security Awareness being the primary focus of MailShark” Michael Mansour said today.

Coordinated and led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the Department of Homeland Security, NCSAM has grown exponentially since its inception, reaching consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, corporations, educational institutions and young people across the nation and internationally. This year marks the 12th year of NCSAM.
