It’s time again for our week in review, to summarize the malicious emails caught by spam filters in the last week. This one is a little on the shorter side, but as usual the emails are as dangerous and tactical as ever. Keep reading to find out a little more about these emails and click the link to read the full article. We strongly suggest deleting these emails from your inbox if received and keep an eye out for anything similar which could be a copycat spam attack.

Comparison Breast Augmentation Email Scam

MailShark Comparison Options for Breast Augmentation Visit WebsiteThis email attempted to reach inboxes claiming to let receiver’s ‘view options’ to compare breast augmentation costs. If anything within this email is clicked, you will be lead to a malicious website which will attempt to infect your computer with malware so it’s best to play it safe and delete it. This is one of a few comparison style emails we have noticed in the last few weeks, so be especially weary of anything similar.

 

 

Amazon Gift Card Reward Email Scam

Gift card scams are increasing in numbers and it seems the major companies being targeted is endless. If you receive any gift card or freebie  related emails we highly recommend doing your research first before clicking any links, because, like this one they may lead you to  a dangerous website.
